For thirty years, our very own Motis built a vibrant singing career while mastering the hospitality industry. Driven by his love for Mediterranean music, he performed on stages worldwide. But a trip to Paphos changed everything—he fell in love with its warm people and magical simplicity. Following their hearts, Moti and his wife, Eti, moved here to build Motis Tavern.

From the day we opened our doors, the golden rule of our house has been “The Magic of Simplicity”. We shaped this tavern to feel like an authentic, rustic rural escape , and our kitchen follows that exact same mindset—focusing on unpretentious, deeply comforting dishes that draw a direct line straight to classic Israeli and Mediterranean traditions. To make sure every single guest can dine with total peace of mind, our kitchen operates strictly Kosher under the full supervision of Chabad of Cyprus.
We have always believed that we are definitely not just another restaurant. Every evening here unfolds like a perfect celebration: we kick off the night with Moti taking the stage to deliver soulful, live Greek music during dinner, and as the night rolls on, the energy hits the rafters. Napkins start flying through the air, plates break, and the line between staff and guests completely dissolves. Our crew is here to look after you with the warmest service, but the real magic only happens when you, our audience, step up and become the true stars of the night.
